How I help others

David S. Meyers

Founder & President, Generation Bridging, LLC​  

 

I began helping people to take more personal financial control over the decisions that need to be made in life. I began my career in the financial services industry in 1989 became licensed in the Insurance industry.  

 

My particular focus has been how to pay for and budget long term care and Medicare Supplemental Insurance became my specialty.  I often meet a person  has had long term care insurance and gave it up because they didn't understand the options they were given when rates were going up.  Most of those policies were sold by salesman, who were not there to provide service to their client 20 years later.  

As a financial advocate, I have create a more transparent relationship with their trusted Financial Advisors, Certified Public Accountants, Long Term Care Insurance Carriers, Medicare Supplemental Insurance, Homeowner’s Insurance, Car Insurance, Umbrella coverage, Traditional Morgages, Reverse Mortgages, Home Equity Loans, Real Estate Agents, Appraisers, Care Managers, Home Health Care Agencies and Registries, public charities, private foundations and so much more.

 

My network with other professionals in my area, is well established. My mission is to support both the client’s goals and advocate for them with the professionals whose advice they need.

As a Daily Money Manager, I have work with clients of all ages, often retired, and their families, helping them with budgeting, tax organization, records or file management, long term care issues, estate settlements and everything in between. 

 

The family's we typically deal with are not "Super Rich", and as well are not poor.  People who might be considered "mass affluent".  Often I find these clients have largely been underserved and need someones help.  But whose?  

 

I have had the privilege of helping many surviving spouses learn how to budget and manage their financial affairs. Each family situation is unique, though some are more challenging than others. 

I have walked my clients through Long Term Care insurance claims, medicare supplemental insurance claims.  It is not uncommon to find out my client doesn't really understand a lot about their insurance policies.

I help our clients and their families have peace of mind that their overall financial plan is working optimally.  

I was raised in Syosset, New York  and moved to Florida in 1988. Shortly thereafter, I planted roots in Palm Beach County, within Boca Raton, Florida as my base both at home and for work. I entered the Financial Services industry in 1989 working primarily with in the world of Long Term Care Insurance.  

I worked in the trenches helping people to choose good Long Term Care Insurance plans.  

In my 30 years of experience, I have worked with hundreds of people from all walks of life, which has provided with a deep insight and a practical view of the problems the people are facing in their contemporary times, with regards to their income or cashflow problems professional and personal life
